Shark Tank India Judge Ashneer Grover offended by comparison to YouTuber Ankur Warikoo

During a management college event, a former judge of Shark Tank India Season One was recently asked by a student if he had transitioned into a social media influencer after leaving the show. The student also made a comparison between the former judge, Ashneer Grover, and finance YouTuber Ankur Warikoo.

This comment did not sit well with Ashneer, who expressed that it was the most offensive thing anyone has said to him. He even went on to suggest that the student could abuse him or his relatives, but he did not want to be compared to Ankur Warikoo.

Ashneer acknowledged that he has embraced social media and achieved great popularity as a result. He acknowledged that while anyone can create reels, not everyone will receive the same level of viewership. He declared, "Yes, I am an influencer." He went on to explain that he enjoys being involved in activities that disrupt the status quo.
Ashneer also revealed that in the last year, he has earned more money as an influencer than through his business ventures or banking career. He even suggested to the student that they might be moved to tears if they knew how much influencers are earning nowadays.

Despite not returning for the second season of Shark Tank India, Ashneer Grover remains popular among fans who have been clamoring for his return on social media. He became known for his memorable "doglapan" dialogue on the show, but was replaced by Amit Jain, co-founder of CarDekho group. Nonetheless, Ashneer's influence as a public figure and social media influencer continues to grow.
